Notice of Public Hearing: The Batavia Housing Authority (BHA) will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 25th at 3:00 PM in the Community Room at 400 Towers for the purpose of hearing public comments on the BHA’s Annual Plan. The hearing will provide further information about the policy for Admission and Continued Occupancy, and will allow for interaction about the timeline and process. Comments on the CFP program will also be received at this time. The hearing is being conducted pursuant to 24 CFR 903.17 and 24 CFR 905.300 in compliance with HUD Capital Fund submission Public Housing Authority Annual Plan requirements.
The location of hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities. If special accommodations are needed for persons with disabilities, those with hearing impairments, or those in need of translation from English, those individuals should contact staff at the BHA administrative offices, at least one week in advance of the hearing date to allow for necessary arrangements. Written comments may also be submitted to Nathan Varland, Executive Director at 400 East Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020 until August 24th, 2025.
