Our Mission
The Batavia Housing Authority is committed to delivering quality, affordable housing where residents can live and thrive in a comfortable, safe and vibrant housing community.
The Batavia Housing Authority was formed in 1965 to provide affordable and safe housing to low income residents in the City of Batavia.
With assistance from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Batavia Housing Authority is able to offer subsidized rent to low income families, elderly, and people living with disabilities. An application is required and prospective residents must meet the requirement of the BHA Admissions policy (link to ACOP), including financial and criminal background checks. To apply please call our office at (585) 344-1888 or visit us at 400 East Main Street in Batavia during our office hours.
Our three family apartment complexes (on South Main Street, Edward Street, and MacArthur Drive) are townhouse style apartments for households of three or more people. Our 400 Towers facility is for seniors (age 62 or over) or people living with disabilities. If you haven’t yet, please check out the 3D tours and pictures on our Family Sites and 400 Towers pages.
